The free payroll exposure snapshot
One quarter of your payroll data. Every employee, every workweek, recomputed. You see the gap before anyone else does — or you find out there isn't one, in writing.
What you send
Two exports, both standard reports your system already produces. Pulling them is typically under an hour.
- Payroll register export (CSV/Excel) for one quarter — the per-employee, per-period earnings report every system produces (ADP, UKG, Workday, Paylocity, Paychex…).
- Time-punch or daily-hours detail for the same quarter — required to reassemble the legal workweeks your pay periods split apart.
- A pay-code list if you have one (if not, I'll build the includable/excludable mapping with you).
What you get back
- A quantified exposure report, ranked by pay code: where the regular rate diverges from what was paid — omitted bonuses, differentials, Alvarado flat-sum divisors, Ferra meal-premium basis, retroactive true-ups.
- A W-2 Box 12 code TT reconciliation: the number your system would report vs. the computed number, for the same quarter.
- A gross-to-net reconciliation check — if your export silently dropped pay codes, you'll hear that too (it's the most common data-quality failure).
- If the audit is clean: a documented clean result. That documentation is what PAGA's "reasonable steps" provision rewards.
